1. General Return Period
We offer a 30-day return policy for eligible items. This 30-day period commences on the exact date and time your item is marked as "Delivered" by the shipping carrier's official tracking system. Return requests initiated for any reason after this 30-day period has expired will be categorically denied without exception.
2. Mandatory Return Authorization (RMA) Process
To initiate any return, you MUST first contact our support team at contact@jewelleryandgold.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific return instructions.
- Unauthorized Returns: Any items sent back to us without a valid, pre-approved RMA number will be refused at the point of delivery. Gross Glanz LLC assumes zero liability for unauthorized returns. We reserve the absolute right to dispose of or return to sender at their expense any unauthorized return shipments. No refund will be processed under any circumstances for an unauthorized return.
3. Non-Negotiable Eligibility Conditions for Return
For a return to be considered for a refund, the item must meet ALL of the following non-negotiable conditions upon a rigorous inspection at our facility:
- The item must be in its absolute original, pristine, unworn, and unaltered condition. It must be completely free of any scratches, marks, blemishes, resizing, or any other signs of wear or modification.
- All original tags, security seals, and protective materials (e.g., plastic films) must be fully intact, untampered with, and in their original placement. Removal or tampering with these elements will automatically void return eligibility.
- The item must be returned with its complete original packaging, including all boxes, cases, manuals, warranty cards, certificates of authenticity, and any and all accessories. Missing components will result in rejection of the return or a deduction from the refund at our sole discretion.
- The original receipt or a clear proof of purchase must be included with the return shipment.
4. Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items
The following items are designated as FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances:
- Custom-made, personalized, or engraved items.
- Items specifically marked as "Sale," "Clearance," or "Final Sale" on the product page.
- Gift cards and e-gift cards.
- Special orders or items sourced specifically at a customer's request.
- Loose gemstones that have been removed from their original sealed packaging.
5. Shipping Costs, Restocking Fee, and Risk of Loss
- Return Shipping Costs: While we may offer complimentary return shipping labels for customers in the U.S. and select countries as a courtesy, you, the customer, are solely responsible for ensuring the item is securely packaged. For international returns where a label is not provided, you are responsible for all costs, including shipping fees, insurance, and any applicable duties and taxes. Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are strictly non-refundable.
- Mandatory Insured & Trackable Shipping: All returns must be sent using a reputable shipping service that provides both tracking and full insurance for the value of the item. Gross Glanz LLC is not liable for items lost, stolen, or damaged during return transit.
- Restocking Fee: To maintain our competitive pricing, all approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item's original purchase price. This fee covers non-recoverable costs such as payment processing, inspection, and repackaging. The applicability and exact percentage of this fee will be determined at our sole discretion based on the item and return circumstances.
6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
You must inspect your order IMMEDIATELY upon receipt. Any claims for defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported to us at contact@jewelleryandgold.com within 48 hours of the delivery time recorded by the carrier.
- Clear, high-resolution photographic and/or video evidence of the issue and all original packaging is required for any claim. Claims made after this 48-hour window, or without sufficient evidence, will not be honored.
7. Refund Processing
Upon receipt and successful inspection of your authorized return, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
- The refunded amount will be the original purchase price, less any applicable original shipping costs and less any applicable restocking fee.
- Please allow up to 15 business days for the refund to be fully processed by our system and your bank or credit card company. We are not responsible for processing delays on the part of your financial institution.
8. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is shipped to a destination within the European Union, you have a statutory right to cancel or return your order within 14 days. This right is acknowledged; however, the exercise of this right is strictly subject to your adherence to all mandatory processes (RMA), conditions of eligibility, and cost responsibilities (including full responsibility for secure return shipping and insurance) as stipulated within this policy. Any applicable restocking fees will also apply.
9. Exchanges & Chargebacks
- Exchanges: We do not offer direct exchanges. The required procedure is to return the original item for a refund (subject to all terms of this policy) and place a new, separate order for the desired item.
- Dispute Resolution: By agreeing to this policy at checkout, you agree to follow the procedures outlined herein to resolve any disputes. Initiating a chargeback with your financial institution without first following our RMA process is a breach of this agreement. We reserve the right to present this policy, your acceptance of it, and all communication records as evidence in any chargeback dispute.
